New report
The China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification (CCPPR) is self-proclaimed to be a nongovernmental organization aimed at unifying Taiwan peacefully. In actuality, it is an organization under the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). CCPPR frequently organizes activities in mainstream society in its respective host countries and Politian circles. Under the title of NGO, it has established branches in different countries. Its goal is to establish and develop a political alliance with the CCP being its core leadership alliance, and carry out the CCP’s united front strategy to influence the policymaking in its host countries, so as to enhance the Chinese communist regimes’ control and influence in the world. This report from WOIPFG is aimed at exposing the CCPPR’s nature as a tool for the CCP’s united front work, the fact that the CCPPR in various countries was founded under the title of NGO while only acknowledging orders from Beijing and implementing the CCP’s policies.

Under the direct order of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin, the "610 Office" in China was established on June 10, 1999, with its mission to crack down on Falun Gong. From its establishment, structure, reporting hierarchy, to its operational and funding mechanism, the "610 Office" is positioned outside the regime's Party and governmental framework. Its nature is similar to that of Nazi's Gestapo and the "Leadership Group of the Cultural Revolution of CCP Central Committee", holding responsibility for the kidnapping, unlawful detention, monetary fines, killing, beating and torture of Falun Gong practitioners. WOIPFG released background information of the "610 Office" and a partial list of its crime in 2003, and the updated information is also attached.
